Filtration

The biologically treated water may contain some very fine suspended particles and bacteria in it. To remove or to reduce the remaining impurities still further, the water is filtered through the beds of fine granular material, such as sand, etc. The process of passing the water through the beds of such granular materials is known as Filtration.

Activated Carbon Filter

• Carbon filtration is a physical treatment process, involving absorption and removal of undesirable parameters from water, by passing it through an activated carbon medium. It removes color, odour, turbidity, organic contaminants, free chlorine, etc.
• It improves taste of the water.
• Available in FRP/MS/ housings.
• Multi port valve is provided, for easy operation.

Sand Filter/Multi Grade Filter

• Filtration is a physical treatment process, for removing suspended particles, from the desired solution, by passing through a porous medium.
• Filtration removes dirt, turbidity etc. thereby giving a clear output quality.
• Available in FRP/MS housings.

Dual media filter

Dual media filters are used in places where the water contains suspended particles, turbidity and iron. Dual media filters provide very efficient particle removal under the conditions of high filtration rate. Internally, the dual media filter is fitted with an inlet distributor and a bottom collecting system. Externally, the system is fitted with frontal pipe work and isolation valves. Sand is used to remove the suspended particles and anthracite is used to remove the odor and color etc. to make the water fit for different applications. Gravels and pebbles are provided to support to both the media.
A water softener system is a unit that is used to soften water, by removing the minerals(Calcium and magnesium) that cause the water to be hard. The water softening process is accomplished by a chemical cation exchange that replaces the calcium and magnesium in your water with a equivalent number of sodium or potassium ions. During the softening process, water passes through the resin bed, and the magnesium and calcium are removed.
